There are a range of reasons why we sometimes wake up to puffy eyes and whilst it's hard to know exactly what has caused it, whether it be a lack of sleep, allergies, fluid retention, stress or perhaps its hereditary, whatever the reason here are few tips to try to reduce the appearance of them.
Cool Compress
One of the quickest ways to reduce the appearance is to apply a cold compress to the area, better still keep some under eye gel pads in the fridge and apply those for 10 minutes. You could also apply ice, or give your face an ice bath as you may or may not have seen across SM, has now become a popular morning ritual for some.

Lymphatic Drainage - Gua Sha
Give yourself a face massage either with your fingers or with a Gua Sha, by massaging your face you can help move excess fluid and reduce the appearance of puffiness.
Apply your moisturiser or a face oil and with light pressure starting at your nose and working your way to the sides of your face, repeat. We will provide a video on our youtube channel for a full face Gua Sha for those interested.
